From the first time I met Mel I knew that she had a genuine relationship and connection with Jesus. Something that I always wanted, but couldn’t seem to ever find. Mel has been guiding me closer to a meaningful relationship with Christ. She stands firm in faith when my thoughts and emotions are wavering and jumping around all over the place. She believes for me when I struggle to have faith for myself. In my journey with Mel’s guidance I have a much richer and deeper connection with my faith. It’s not so much a question of, “Is God real?”, anymore as much as it is of “What will God do?” We don’t know the ways of God, but we know he will be with us. He goes before us and makes our paths straight when we call out to Him.
Mel is so patient and gentle with me, and yet also has a steady hand to keep me anchored to Christ and stop me running off in my worry and disbelief. Mel holds a fabulous balance of being organised and professional and also being spontaneous and personal. I don’t have to worry about anything I say to Mel. She doesn’t judge me for my shortcomings or doubts and I know she holds my words in the strictest confidence. Mel is a beautiful soul, a grounded guide and a trusted confidant.
